Day 5: Kolhapur (Sunday)

Here is the small synopsis of the Day 5 on-board Deccan Odyssey itinerary . Thus, the management also makes all proper arrangements to make the travel comfortable for the guests and also enjoying the element of lavishness throughout the journey.

  • 07:00 hours – Breakfast will be served on-board.
  • 08:35 hours – The Deccan Odyssey will arrive at the Kolhapur Railway Station.
  • 08:45 hours to 12.30 hours – There will be a guided tour of the city. The guests would be taken to various attractions of Kolhapur that would include the Museum, Mahalaxmi Temple, New Palace, Bhawani Mandap, and Shalini Palace. Cultural Programs and martial arts would also be organized for the entertainment of the guests. The guests may also buy some handicraft from the Handicraft Stalls as the souvenirs.
  • 12:45 hours – Return back to the Kolhapur Railway Station.
  • 13:20 hours – Board Deccan Odyssey.
  • 13:40 hours – Bid adieu to Kolhapur and the luxury train moves towards the next destination Daulatabad/Aurangabad via Pune.
  • 13:15 hours to 20:00 hours – Lunch will be served onboard. The remaining hours could be spent at leisure.
  • 20:00 hours – Guests will be served with scrumptious dinner onboard.
  • 20:30 hours to 21:45 hours – The Deccan Odyssey will halt at Pune Railway Station for detraining and entraining.
  • 21:45 hours – Thereafter, the luxury train departs for Daulatabad/Aurangabad.
